255 Days to Go!
Hi everyone! I’m excited to be sharing my wedding planning experience with you all, and I hope it helps you with your own planning experience. I’m glad I have Sharokina’s guidance throughout this process… wedding planning involves a lot more than I had anticipated!
Let me tell you what progress I’ve made so far:
Venue: Booked! My fiancé, Erik, and I will be having an outdoor ceremony
and indoor reception at Christiana Creek Country Club in Elkhart, Indiana.
Catering: Also booked. Christiana Creek’s restaurant has some of the best
food in Elkhart, and Erik and I are happy to have them cater our reception.
Dress: Bought! Here it is! I ordered it in ivory, and I’ll be removing the bow on the side and replacing it with some simple flowers and/or beading.
And honestly, that’s about it. Erik and I have been trying to figure out colors and other vendors, but we haven’t made any final decisions yet.
So to help me along, Sharokina has advised me to look around and get some ideas for the style of wedding my fiancé, Erik, and I want to have. I love the idea of a vintage-style wedding, and so I’ve started pulling images together of things I like:
